College football is filled with many stars, including several highly-touted incoming freshmen.

None of the freshmen come more highly-regarded than Arch Manning, nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning.

Due to the success of his family members, Manning’s career has been analyzed under a microscope from a young age.

Manning will be a freshman at the University of Texas in 2023, and he is already being recruited for NIL sponsorships.

In a recent article by Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, he highlights a recent conversation with Manning’s grandpa.

“You can take money when you become a player and you start,” Manning’s grandpa said.

Despite Manning’s background and family history, Quinn Ewers will remain Texas’ starter.

Ewers took the world by storm last season, putting together a remarkable freshman campaign before falling to injury.

Texas was on top of the college football world, only to fall a few pegs after Ewers’ injury.

Manning will need to earn his role on the team, whether that’s taking the job away from Ewers, or if it’s sitting for a few years, waiting for an opportunity.

Regardless, it appears that his family will not let him be impacted by money, at least, while he remains a backup.

It is only a matter of time before Manning gets his shot as the starter.

Until it happens, Manning will continue to hone his game, as a more athletic and stronger build than his two uncles.

How high will Manning’s ceiling get, knowing his family history and his measurables?
