The Memphis Grizzlies weren’t ready to end their season yet.

They were the more physical, more determined, and more focused team in a potential season-ending matchup vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.

The game was close until midway through the third quarter when Desmond Bane took over, and the rest was history.

However, even though the Grizzlies deserve plenty of credit for the win, Shannon Sharpe believes LeBron James should get most of the blame for the loss:

“It’s one of the worst overall games I’ve seen him play in a long time. 85-90% of the blame last night is on LeBron’s shoulders,” Sharpe said on Undisputed.

James acknowledged that he didn’t play well, and Sharpe agreed with that statement, putting him on blast for how poorly he shot the basketball.

Sharpe also ripped coach Darvin Ham for his rotations and giving Malik Beasley and Troy Brown Jr. heavy minutes despite being “unplayable” in this series.

Dillon Brooks finally put his money where his mouth was and did a solid job of keeping LeBron out of rhythm, and it wasn’t a good outing overall for the 38-year-old.

Ham sent Anthony Davis to the bench when they were down one and then failed to get him back into the game as the Grizzlies were pulling away and getting everything they wanted at the rim.

The only positive thing about that game is that they kept it within reach for 30 minutes or so and that they’ll head back home to Crypto.com Arena for a potential series-clinching matchup.

And you better believe James won’t shoot 5-for-17 from the floor and 1-for-9 from three-point territory two games in a row, so the Grizzlies better be prepared.
