On a team full of superstars, Austin Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers has made a real name for himself.

Reaves has only been with the team for two years now but has quickly become one of the biggest fan favorites.

He has been getting more attention lately because of how well he’s performed during the first round of the playoffs, consistently scoring in double digits and being a true force on the defensive end of the court.

Reaves is loving his time in LA and wants to be there for a very long time.

According to Dave McMenamin, Reaves said, “I would love to be here my whole career. Just the way the fans treat me, the love they have for me, as an undrafted player, it’s kind of like they raised me type of vibe.”

He added, “It feels like this all happened for a reason and this is where I should be.”

Some people don’t know how great Reaves has been because they solely look at his numbers.

His 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists don’t seem too remarkable when compared to the work of others on his team, such as LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

But Reaves is young, energetic, and very determined in every single game.

He is a two-way player too, working hard both offensively and defensively.

In the span of just two seasons, he has become one of the most reliable players on the Lakers.

However, it’s not clear what’s next for Reaves.

The Lakers will have to decide if they want to offer him a much bigger deal – which he has surely earned – or let him try his hand on the open market.

But this latest statement from Reaves makes it clear where he wants to remain.
