The San Francisco 49ers are, without a doubt, one of the best all-around teams in the NFL, with the storied franchise potentially being a Super Bowl title contender for many years if Brock Purdy proves to be the right guy under center.

Along with being stacked on the defensive side of the football with Nick Bosa leading the way, the 49ers are just as dynamic on offense as some of the league’s most versatile players.

As if having the dual threat of Deebo Samuel wasn’t impressive enough, San Francisco brought in superstar running back Christian McCaffrey.

The move to acquire McCaffrey was a game-changer for San Francisco, and now the team has restructured his deal to create more than $8 million in cap space, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

In 11 games with the 49ers last season, McCaffrey racked up 1,210 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns, which is solid production for a veteran player that had to adjust to a new system midway through the 2022 campaign.

With McCaffrey back in the fold, the 49ers will continue to be a force to be reckoned with offensively next season.

The real question moving forward is what the team will do at the quarterback position, with Purdy having no timetable for his return yet.

Along with Purdy’s uncertain return date, the team has been actively discussing trading Trey Lance and recently signed veteran Sam Darnold.

It’ll be interesting to see if Lance is traded and if Darnold can shoulder the load until Purdy is ready to get back to work.
