Not often do the worlds of Major League Baseball and Star Wars collide.
However, with Thursday being “May the Fourth,” otherwise officially known as Star Wars Day, MLB decided to have a little bit of fun.
Teams will occasionally have their own special Star Wars night at the ballpark, where fans may dress up as famous characters or even bring lightsabers.
Sometimes teams will sell merchandise that is both baseball and Star Wars-related.
MLB on FOX asked AI to create photos of MLB stars as famous Star Wars characters.
On Twitter, they revealed the results, showing several MLB stars as either Jedi, Sith, or Rebels.

Mike Trout is seen wearing a Jedi cloak over his Los Angeles Angels uniform.
He has his hood up and is wielding a cool lightsaber.
Bryce Harper is dressed as a soldier from the Rebel Alliance, with his battle hat consisting of the Philadelphia Phillies logo.
Perhaps the most fitting design shows Aaron Judge dressed as the most iconic Sith Lord in the galaxy, Darth Vader.
The helmet includes the New York Yankees logo, which is also fitting considering that the Yankees have long been referred to as the “Evil Empire”.
Finally, Yordan Alvarez is dressed as a red lightsaber-wielding Sith Lord, with the Houston Astros logo being shown on his cloak.
MLB appears to have had a lot of fun with this day, showing some of the best players in the business as famous characters and celebrating the day as fans of the Star Wars universe themselves.
