The Golden State Warriors are currently in a tough battle with the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA playoffs as the defending NBA champions face elimination heading into Game 6 at Crypto.com Arena.

If the Warriors aren’t able to keep their title defense hopes alive, Golden State will be faced with some tough challenges in the NBA offseason, as it could genuinely be the end of their dynasty with two major decisions to make.

One of those major decisions will be the immediate future of general manager Bob Myers, as he will become a free agent and able to leave San Francisco to join another team if he doesn’t come to terms with the Warriors on a new contract.

Myers was recently asked about his situation with the Warriors and gave an answer that leaves more questions than answers via 95.7 The Game.

It seems as though Myers is simply waiting to see how things pan out in the series and throughout the rest of the playoffs if the Warriors can stay alive.

The longtime general manager doesn’t seem ready to commit to the team or say anything that may impact the negotiation process with Golden State this summer.

Along with the immediate future of Myers in San Francisco, the Warriors will also have to figure out the situation with veteran forward Draymond Green, as he may opt out of his deal and become a free agent or ask for too much in contract negotiations, which may ultimately force the Warriors to move on.
