Matt Ryan had a solid NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons but not so much with the Indianapolis Colts.
Now, the former league MVP will pursue a new chapter in his career, this time away from the gridiron but still related to the game of football.
Ryan will reportedly join CBS Sports as a football analyst starting next season.

Notably, that led to some reactions on social media, from people being completely unfazed by the announcement to others cracking 28-3 jokes at his expense and others wishing him all the best in this new endeavor.
He is going to be great until the end of the show.

Ryan posted solid numbers for the better part of his career, and some might argue that his numbers are somewhat worthy of being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
He was never the best or most impressive quarterback in the game, and obviously, that infamous blown lead in the Super Bowl will forever be a stain on his résumé, but he was still a synonym for consistency during his playing days in Atlanta.
Notably, he’s not the only former QB to make the transition from the gridiron to the booth in recent times, with Tony Romo and Drew Brees enjoying mixed results in their first season as analysts.
Even so, most people will continue to wait on legendary QB Tom Brady to enter the next step in his career after signing a huge 10-year deal with FOX, as Brady confirmed that he will take the year off to be ready for the start of the 2024 NFL season.
