With the Los Angeles Lakers set to take on the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals this week, a lot of talk shows and podcasts have been talking about LeBron James’ legacy once again and what all this means for the superstar forward.
One pundit that has been particularly ruthless to James over the years when criticizing his game and legacy is Skip Bayless of Fox Sports.
On Monday, a day before the Western Conference Finals gets underway in Denver, Bayless didn’t hold back when asked to describe the four-time NBA champion in one word.
That word that Bayless chose to use to describe the future Hall of Famer is “flawed,” as he believes James shies away from the big moments due to the fact he’s a below-average shooter and free-throw shooter.
What one word do I think best describes LeBron James?

When it comes to shooting, Bayless has a point about James, as he is not as efficient as Michael Jordan or Stephen Curry in the big moments and doesn’t seek to get the ball in clutch moments for that reason.
However, as Bayless states, James is remarkably good when driving the basket, with few that can contend with him in that aspect of his game.
The LeBron debate and whether he’s the greatest player of all time will go on and on and will likely get that much more interesting if he wins it all this season, especially considering the fact they were able to get this far after getting into the postseason through the Play-in Tournament.
