The NFL is currently filled with a lot of talented quarterbacks in both the AFC and NFC, with some of these players being young up-and-comers to others being seasoned veterans.
Heading into the 2023 NFL season, the quarterback position might be more talented than ever, with some primetime players looking to put on a show.
Peter Schrager of Fox Sports recently put together an interesting list of the best clutch quarterbacks in the league, in his opinion, with a few obvious names and perhaps a surprise or two via Good Morning Football.

Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs being at the top of this list comes as no surprise, especially with him coming off a second Super Bowl title under head coach Andy Reid.
Mahomes continues to set the bar as the best all-around quarterback in the league and, without a doubt, the one player a team would want to lean on with a game on the line.
Los Angeles Rams star Matthew Stafford being second on the list is a little surprising, as he’s only had one successful season and has been relatively mediocre and injury prone for the rest of his career.
The rest of the list makes a lot of sense, with Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, and Josh Allen being the final three.
The Cincinnati Bengals superstar has quickly cemented himself as a player that can be counted on under center in clutch situations, while the New York Jets newcomer has the resume any quarterback would want, and the Buffalo Bills star continues to prove he’s among the league’s elite.
