The Toronto Blue Jays played host to the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night, and they got a special visit from an MLB legend.
Pedro Martinez made an appearance, and while he never pitched for the Blue Jays, he showed up in style.
He played a good portion of his career with the Montreal Expos, and with the game being played in Canada, it made perfect sense.
The Hall-of-Famer threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and showed that he still has what it takes to dominate as a pitcher, as he threw a strike to Guerrero and received a warm hand from the crowd.

Martinez began his career as a reliever with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He then joined the Expos in 1994 and was teammates with Larry Walker.
In 1998, the right-hander joined the Boston Red Sox and won a World Series title six years later, helping to break the team’s curse.
Martinez finished out his career in 2009 after a few seasons with the New York Mets and one with the Philadelphia Phillies.
The 51-year-old won a total of 219 games during his storied career and struck out 3,154 batters, while also posting a WHIP of 1.054.
He also owns an 83.9 career WAR and an ERA of 2.93 in 2,827.1 innings of work.
Martinez even won three Cy Youngs and a pitching triple crown, while also being selected to eight All-Star teams.
The right-hander was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015 after an illustrious career.
