The Chicago Bears have gone through a fair share of struggles over the past few years.

The last time they made the playoffs was in 2020, and they’ve only appeared in the postseason twice in the past decade.

Many have pointed to the Bears as a team that’s due for a winning season, which is feasible in 2023.

As Warren Sharp has recently indicated, the Bears hold a unique advantage next season, having more scheduled rest than any opponent they are slated to face.

As Sharp highlights, the Bears haven’t had a lot of luck over the last three seasons.

They are 0-9 in games against teams that had more rest than they did, and 1-8 against the spread during that same timeframe.

With Justin Fields at the helm and a new look on both offense and defense, the Bears will look to make some massive changes in 2023.

Having a favorable schedule can’t hurt, and the Bears appear to need all of the help they can get.

With Aaron Rodgers now out of the division, anything is possible for the remaining three teams in the NFC North.

Is 2023 the year that Fields breaks through, resulting in a convincing playoff berth for the Bears?

They’ve invested significant capital on both sides of the ball, both during the draft and in free agency.

This is a fanbase that is in desperate need of something to cheer for and is primed for a massive season.

While there are still a few months until the season begins, Sharp’s stats might bring a taste of solace to Bears fans.
