On Wednesday, the defending World Series champion Houston Astros pulled off a stunning comeback against the Chicago Cubs.
As late as the eighth inning, the reigning champs were trailing the North Siders by a score of 6-1.
Houston tallied two in the bottom of the eighth to make it a 6-3 game.
But things got wild in the bottom of the ninth.
Houston continued its rally and chipped away at their deficit.
With one out and the score 6-5, still in the Cubs’ favor, Kyle Tucker came through in the clutch and completed the comeback as the Astros walked off with a 7-6 win.
On Twitter, the Astros celebrated their win by referencing a hilarious meme from years ago.
The tweet also included a video of Tucker’s big hit.

The meme being referenced stems from an interview with a high school football player, whose team completed an epic comeback before he told the reporter that he believed the opposing team had an insurmountable advantage in the first half.
The Cubs certainly had a big lead on Wednesday.
In fact, they led 6-1 in the bottom of the eighth.
Normally, that is enough to hold on to win the game.
But the Astros didn’t quit.
They showed their trademark resilience and continued to fight despite the odds being stacked in the Cubs’ favor.
And Tucker’s base-hit capped off an epic comeback in a game where it appeared that the Astros had already fallen short.
The Astros ultimately pulled off a sweep over the Cubs and improved to 24-19.
