The start of the 2023 NFL Draft is just around the corner, with every team in the league continuing to do its due diligence on players that will be available to make the jump to the next level on April 27.

As usual, the most intriguing part of the upcoming draft is where the top prospects at the quarterback position land when it is all said and done.

Currently, four quarterbacks are expected to be taken in the first round of the draft, with plenty of teams trying to figure out which of these four players is worth using a first-round pick on come draft day.

One team that needs some long-term security at the quarterback position is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who just lost superstar Tom Brady to retirement and recently added Baker Mayfield as a short-term fix.

Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht recently admitted that the team hasn’t ruled out going for a quarterback in the draft.

The Buccaneers currently own the 19th overall pick in the upcoming draft, which is likely way too low to get their hands on one of the top four quarterbacks expected to be taken in the first round.

Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis are the four quarterbacks ranked high on most mock drafts, with no telling how low one or more of these quarterbacks could fall later this month.

It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that all four are taken within the first five to seven picks, meaning Tampa Bay would have to trade up to get in the running.
