ESPN Analytics Still Has Surprising Odds For Favorites To Win The East

The Miami Heat made yet another statement on Friday night with a big win over the Boston Celtics.

Behind Jimmy Butler’s 27 points, the Heat confirmed they aren’t playing around and are keen to return to the NBA Finals after three years.

Butler once again showed he’s one of the best performers in the playoffs this year, leading the way for his team, especially in clutch time.

Even after this result, Miami isn’t the favorite to win this series, which is odd considering how well they’ve played in the first two games of the series and the Celtics’ struggles to close out the matches.

One could say Miami will eventually lose the momentum and the Celtics will take advantage of that, but this team hasn’t shown signs of slowing down yet.

They lost Tyler Herro against the Milwaukee Bucks and then Victor Oladipo, yet none of that has mattered.

Miami is on a mission, and they have a great squad that doesn’t care about the men in front of them. They will compete with everything they have no matter what.

Jimmy Butler is the leader of this team, and this postseason he’s found the right help in Bam Adebayo, who is finally graduating as a superstar this campaign.

The Heat are now headed back to Miami, where they’ll try to win the next two games and sweep the inconsistent Celtics.

However, the Celtics are still favored to win this series and go to the Finals regardless of their bad performances.
