The Los Angeles Lakers’ season could come to a disappointing end on Monday night.
They’re down 0-3 to the Denver Nuggets, and even though they’ll be at home, they’ve looked overmatched and out-hustled through stretches.
However, Skip Bayless isn’t ready to count them out just yet.
Brian Windhorst said people were texting him that “this is the end for LeBron.”

Bayless claims he’s seen glimpses of the LeBron James of old, and he believes he’s ready to take over and remind everybody who he is.
He also shut down that narrative from Brian Windhorst that states that LeBron is done and we’re starting to see the beginning of the end.
Instead, he only believes we’ll no longer see that dominant version of LeBron, which is only normal, considering his age.
The sole fact that people still expect LeBron to be the same dominant player he used to be five years ago at age 38 only speaks volumes of his greatness.
No player should be able to do what James does at this age.
LeBron has shattered pretty much every single longevity-related record, and being available is a huge part of the job, so that should get plenty of praise as well.
The Lakers expected to rely on Anthony Davis and hoped he could carry LeBron’s torch once he was ready to walk away from the game, but that hasn’t been the case thus far.
Now, they’re touted with the nearly-impossible task of becoming the first team to come back from a 0-3 deficit in NBA playoff history.
And while that will be easier said than done, you can never count James out.
