Even though we’re used to seeing Jack Nicholson and countless superstars in attendance at Los Angeles Lakers games, it’s not so usual to see other NBA stars show up to a rival’s game.
That’s why the internet went wild when Kyrie Irving showed his face at Crypto.com Arena for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals vs. the Denver Nuggets.

Notably, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young was also in attendance.
However, Kyrie’s history with LeBron James and all the recent rumors about his desire to play for the Lakers obviously fueled countless comments on social media.
The Lakers actively pursued Kyrie ahead of the trade deadline and even reportedly had a nice offer in place, but Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai reportedly didn’t want to help Irving out, so he sent him to the Dallas Mavericks instead.
Kyrie is now a free agent, so he could choose to sign with the Lakers, albeit most likely taking a pay cut and letting other players walk away from the team.
He already knows what it’s like to play with LeBron, and both parties are reportedly looking forward to a reunion as well.
James even admitted that he was disappointed and bummed out because the Lakers failed to trade for him, which obviously didn’t sit well with Russell Westbrook.
And now that D’Angelo Russell finished the season on a low note, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Rob Pelinka try and replace him with the former Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard, granted he doesn’t get a max contract somewhere else.
