NFL on tv

The rich often get richer, and the NFL broadcast industry isn’t the exception to that ages-long premise.

The highest-rated pregame show in the league might only get even better after adding a three-time Super Bowl champion.

The New York Post via Ari Meirov, reported that Devin McCourty will be a part of NBC’s ‘Football Night in America’ beginning this season, prompting plenty of positive reactions on social media.

While still active, McCourty served as an analyst for CBS’ ‘NFL Today,’ drawing some good reviews and leading to this bigger opportunity.

McCourty, who spent 13 years with the New England Patriots, was a two-time Pro Bowler on top of a three-time champion, and he’s following the steps of his twin, Jason, who’s currently one of the hosts of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.

Jason has also become a prominent radio analyst at Westwood One, and Devin is reportedly set to join him there as well, starting this season, per the report.

The McCourty twins found success since their days at Rutgers and had pretty prominent careers in the league before pursuing a new challenge on the booth.

Notably, they joined the NFL’s broadcasting boot camp alongside multiple retired players who were also looking forward to a new career in the media.

They both excelled during their college careers at Rutgers before becoming one of the most famous twin duos in sports history.

The McCourtys first started making waves as future NFL TV standouts at the league’s broadcasting boot camp, where current and just retired players learned about the media business.
