Aaron Rodgers Comments On A Familiar Target

Aaron Rodgers is starting his new life in the Tri-state area, as he is taking part in voluntary OTAs for his new team, the New York Jets.

He is being joined by some familiar faces from his last few years with the Green Bay Packers, including offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and wide receivers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb.

Looking at Cobb’s stats and the fact that he is 32 years of age, one may figure he won’t play a meaningful role in whatever the Jest will accomplish this fall and winter.

But Rodgers says he feels Cobb still has a lot of game left.

In his early years, Cobb was once a stud wideout who posted 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns while making the Pro Bowl in 2014.

But he has slowed down considerably over the last few years, and he managed only 417 yards and one touchdown last season with Green Bay.

Still, Rodgers has been very effective when targeting Cobb over the last two years, as he has had a sizzling 90.7 QBR in such situations.

The Jets may end up having the talent to contend for a spot in the Super Bowl, especially thanks to a defense that was fourth in points and total yards allowed last season, but the bad news is that several other teams in the conference do as well.

In just their own division, they will have to deal with the Buffalo Bills, who were the consensus favorites to win the world championship at the start of last season, as well as the Miami Dolphins, a team that has title aspirations.
