This performance also became the highest-scoring game from a Kings player coming off the bench.
Prior to this stint with the Kings, he had played with the Charlotte Hornets.
Then, he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Purple and Gold missed the playoffs last season.
Now, Monk is in a good situation, helping De’Aaron Fox change things in Sacramento.
The Kings secured a big win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of their first-round series.
The fans flooded Golden1 Center to see their team go against the defending champions.
Monk showed up and help his squad get a very important win.
Sacramento has reasons to be happy right now, and if Monk keeps playing at this level, they will be a threat to the rest of the West.
Game 2 is set for this Monday, and the Kings will try to add another win to their record.
Draymond Green said the Dubs shouldn’t allow Monk to go for 32, so he could take that personally and go off on the Warriors.
