The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2022 NFL season as the league runner-up, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

In the 2022 offseason, the Eagles added a few key contributors, which allowed them to make a deep playoff run.

One of those contributors was A.J. Brown, a top receiver who was able to impact the team in his first year.

Jalen Hurts took a massive step forward as a passer last season, and Brown was a large part of that.

When looking ahead to 2023, the Eagles retained many of their top players, and are ready to compete at a high level.

Despite their success, however, great teams can always add pieces to their roster.

In a recent article by Connor Zimmerlee of SI.com, he believes that the Eagles are potentially at play for Budda Baker, given his recent trade request.

“Adding him (Baker) to a top-notch unit that already boasts the best pass-rush in the NFL would only further elevate the Eagles’ defense,” said Zimmerlee.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN was the first to report this possibility, as seen below.

The Eagles could be an exciting destination for Baker, especially given the current state of the Cardinals.

A team that is in win-now mode like the Eagles could be a great landing spot for Baker.

However, as Zimmerlee points out, “They (the Eagles) might not be able to give him the contract he desires.”

Baker is unhappy with the Cardinals’ organization, which is the bottom line.

As seen in previous years, unhappy players typically get their way and are traded to a new team.

Will the Eagles be able to land Baker?
