On Tuesday, Clayton Kershaw pitched seven shutout innings against the powerful New York Mets, striking out nine batters and allowing just three hits and no walks.

The Los Angeles Dodgers won the game by a final score of 5-0 over the Mets and improved to 9-8 on the season.

Kershaw earned the win for the Dodgers, but it was no ordinary win.

This was the future Hall-of-Famer’s 200th career win.

Even more impressive was the fact that all of Kershaw’s wins have come with one team, that being the Dodgers.

With his 200th win, he joined an elite list of pitchers who achieved 200 wins and did so with just one team.

Also on the list are pitchers such as Walter Johnson, Jim Palmer, Bob Feller, Bob Gibson, Whitey Ford, Don Drysdale, and Bob Lemon.

Kershaw’s Dodgers career has been nothing short of magnificent.

He broke into the Major Leagues back in 2008 and has been one of, if not the most dependable starter the Dodgers have had since then.

The veteran left-hander has had more than his fair share of postseason struggles.

However, he put that behind him and ultimately helped lead the Dodgers to three National League pennants from 2017-20, as well as a World Series title.

Now, the veteran ace is on an elite list of pitchers who have not only won 200 games, but have done so with just one team.

With the win, Kershaw lowered his ERA on the season to 2.52 and his career ERA to 2.48.

The Dodgers will look for a series win on Wednesday against the Mets.
