The Seattle Seahawks currently have the No. 5 and No. 20 picks in the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft.

And while they might be tempted to use that first one on Georgia’s Jalen Carter, they could put the second one to use to strengthen their offense.

At least, Quandre Diggs wouldn’t be mad at that, as he recently claimed that Texas RB Bijan Robinson is the best player in this class.

Maybe we should take his words with a grain of salt, granted he’s a fellow Longhorn himself.

Then again, he wouldn’t be the first or only person to make this bold claim about the star RB prospect.

Robinson was a machine at Texas, wreaking havoc out of the backfield and piling up yards and scores almost at will.

He’s drawn comparisons to Saquon Barkley throughout the NFL Draft process, but he doesn’t have a history of injuries.

Barkley was one of the prime backs in the league when healthy, so that’s a more than decent ceiling for any RB prospect.

Then again, running backs have become somewhat expendable in today’s pass-happy game, which is why teams are wary and hesitant to use a first-round pick on a back lately.

Should that be the case, the Seahawks could hope to land Robinson with the No. 37 pick, but it’s unclear where he might fall right now.

The talent is most definitely there, so it’ll be interesting to see who takes a flier on a guy with Hall-of-Fame potential come April 27.
