This season has been a remarkable one for the Sacramento Kings.

After years of being banished to the bottom of their conference, they are now the third team in the West and are currently overpowering the defending champions in the opening round of the playoffs.

A lot of this has to do with the team’s breakout star: De’Aaron Fox.

Brian Windhorst is just one of the many analysts awed by Fox and he praised the young player on Thursday’s episode of First Take.

“America, I want you to look at your next NBA superstar. He’s developing right in front of your eyes,” Windhorst stated.

Calling Fox an “absolute stud”, Windhorst said that he has “a killer way to finish games” because he “gets to his spots with speed.”

Fans of the Kings are well aware of Fox’s quickness.

He is able to post himself all over the court and when he is in the zone, he is impossible to slow down.

He was just named 2022-23 Clutch Player of the Year and there is a good reason for that: teams across the Association have grown terrified of what Fox can do in the fourth quarter.

Although he was competing for that honor against players such as Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan, most people knew that Fox would win.

Fox has been the centerpiece of the Kings for several years but he is finally on the radar of millions more because of how well the team is doing.

If the Kings continue to storm through the playoffs, even more people will be introduced to his phenomenal skill.
