The Golden State Warriors have their backs against the wall in their first-round playoff series.

For the first time in Stephen Curry’s career, the Warriors trail 0-2 in a series.

After dropping the first two on the road, the Warriors head home Thursday night for a must-win game.

Golden State must avoid the dreaded 0-3 deficit.

The Warriors have been terrible on the road all year, so losing the first two isn’t a major surprise.

But there is no excuse for them to lose three straight.

According to NBA on ESPN, the Warriors haven’t trailed 3-0 in a best-of-7 series since 1987.

The defending champions will also have their work cut off for them in Game 3.

All-Star forward Draymond Green has been suspended from the game due to stomping on Kings center Domantas Sabonis in Game 2.

His loss will certainly be felt by the Warriors as their defense is sure to take a major hit.

They still have one of the best shooting teams in the NBA, and playing at home should give their role players a major boost.

On the Warriors’ path to the championship last season, they never faced elimination in any series.

That will change if they cannot find a way to win tonight.

Even without Green, expect to see a fully motivated Warriors team as they try and vault themselves back into this series.
