The NFL Draft is one week away, and everyone is highly anticipating where these college stars will end up.

Like most years, the quarterbacks are the most talked about position pre-draft.

The teams that select a quarterback high are hoping to find their franchise quarterback for the next decade.

But, that is not usually the case.

Each player needs to be developed differently, which plays a large role in their long-term success.

One quarterback that has seen his stock rise of late is Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker.

Talks have surfaced that he might find his way into the backend of the first round.

But, the second round seems to be his floor.

Hooker is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered at Tennessee.

But, teams still loved what he showed pre-injury.

Hooker threw for 3,135 yards and 27 touchdowns with two interceptions in 11 games.

He also completed an impressive 69.6% of his passes.

All of his stats are factoring into him flying up teams’ draft boards.

Hooker is a dual-threat quarterback, and he models his game off of similar players.

According to NFL Network, Hooker models his game after Randall Cunningham and Vince Young.

Cunningham was a very good NFL quarterback while Young was one of the best college quarterbacks of all time.

Many kids growing up model their game after Young because they saw his historic performance against USC.

Hooker is hoping to carve out his career in the NFL, and that starts with hearing his name called next week.
