The Phoenix Suns secured a very important win on Thursday night, beating the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 3 of the opening round and taking a 2-1 lead.

The Suns have Kevin Durant and Chris Paul on the roster, two of the best players in NBA history.

But it was Devin Booker who did the most with his 45 points on 18-of-29 from the floor.

Hoop Central highlighted Booker’s incredible playoff run so far.

He has averaged 36.3 points, 5 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game on 60% from the field and 41% from the three-point line.

Booker is now leading this postseason in points per game and is the most important part of his team.

This follows an incredible season for Booker, who put up 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game in 2022-23.

When Durant was traded to the Suns in February, many people assumed the team would be favorites to make the Finals.

Booker’s statistics show that it’s not just Durant who is a powerhouse for this team.

The fact that Durant is not the most dominant player on this team shows just how fierce the Suns have become.

Now the question is if Booker and his squad will be able to return to the Finals.

During his last Finals appearance in 2021, Booker averaged 28.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Since then, he has made no secret of his desire to get back to the championship and win it all.

If he continues to perform like this, Booker could be on his way to meeting that goal – and maybe winning Finals MVP too.

The playoffs have just begun and there are still many games left but Booker might end up being the most impactful player of this postseason.
