On Saturday night, LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers will attempt to score another win against the Memphis Grizzlies in the opening round of the playoffs.

This is just the latest playoff series that James has appeared in during his long tenure in the NBA.

Saturday is also the anniversary of his playoff debut, all the way back in 2006.

During his first postseason game, James scored a triple-double and produced 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists for his Cleveland Cavaliers in a win over the Washington Wizards.

Because of this anniversary, fans of James are using Saturday as yet another opportunity to speak about the greatness of their favorite star.

“I remember watching this back then and just being awed,” one fan said.

Others again reignited the debate over who is better: James or Michael Jordan.

“Lebron is the goat of numbers but MJ is the goat of the show,” one user claimed.

Then there were many who turned their attention to Saturday night’s big game between the Lakers and Grizzlies.

Some people believe that James will have trouble because of the defense of Dillon Brooks.

Then some jokingly suggested that James is going to go off in Game 3 and score jaw-dropping numbers in a very short amount of time.

James has one of the longest NBA careers in history and it is wild to see him being so crucial to his team in year 20 just like he was in 2006.

In his first playoff run, James averaged 30.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists.

So far in 2022-23, he has produced 24.5 points, 11.5, and 4 assists.

At 38 years old, James is still something special to see in the playoffs.
