The fanbase of the Los Angeles Clippers is dealing with the loss of Kawhi Leonard – again.

After strong showings in Game 1 and 2 of the opening round, Leonard sat out of Game 3 against the Phoenix Suns because of a knee injury.

On Friday, it was announced that he will miss Game 4 too.

This has caused a chorus of people to call for Leonard to leave the Clippers after years of missed games, numerous injuries, and a lack of big wins in the postseason.

Stephen A. Smith has had it with Leonard and he loudly let it be known on Friday.

“I’m sick of Kawhi Leonard. I’m sick of him. Seriously, why don’t you just retire?” Smith said on his Know Mercy show.

Smith listed a slew of complaints about Leonard, including the fact that he “blackmailed” the Clippers into giving him the roster he wanted.

Like many Clippers fans, Smith is tired of seeing both Leonard and Paul George rarely play together and suffer injury after injury.

George hasn’t even played at all in the postseason this year and the number of playoff appearances the two have shared is very small.

Smith is saying what so many others are thinking.

There are now two questions revolving around the Clippers.

Will they somehow be able to push through the opening round despite a lack of Leonard and George?

And if they can’t, what will happen to Leonard?

Are his days in LA coming to an end?

All season long, it was known that if the Clippers didn’t have an impressive postseason push then the team would probably be blown up.

Has that time come?
