If things weren’t already bad for the Los Angeles Clippers, now they’ve become a lot worse.
Kawhi Leonard wasn’t expected to play in Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns, but recent updates have made this situation more serious.
According to Chris Haynes, there’s no timetable for Leonard’s return.

Many fans reacted to this terrible update.
While some wished the best for Kawhi, others started predicting that this is the beginning of the end of his career.
It sounds like he tore his ACL and the clippers are lying about it again

It’s so sad how fast the narrative changed for Kawhi Leonard the last few days. We all went from appreciating his 2 way brilliance and saying Healthy Kawhi is top 3 to once again questioning his durability, injuries

Feel bad for Clipper fans

Haynes reports that this injury has nothing to do with the season-ending injury he picked up a couple of years ago.

Leonard did hurt the same knee but he could be back ‘at some point,’ as long as the Clippers stay in the competition.
Things have drastically changed for this team, who went from being a serious threat to the Suns to a shell of themselves.
Leonard dropped 38 points in Game 1 (which the Clippers won) and then scored 31 points in the next game.
He was obviously his team’s best weapon and without him, the Clips will have a hard time even competing against the Suns.
Game 4 will be crucial for their aspirations this postseason.
If they want to see Leonard at some point, they need to put in a big effort.
Leonard was set to lead them to the promised land this season but those dreams will have to wait… Again.
Russell Westbrook will have the responsibility to lead this team not only today but the rest of the games Leonard is unavailable.
