The New York Giants have not been afraid to make some moves in free agency this offseason.

One of the big moves they made was by re-signing quarterback Daniel Jones.

They gave him a four-year deal worth $160 million.

Despite if you think he is worth that or not, that is the going rate for a franchise quarterback.

But now the Giants have decided to make a move to bolster their defense.

They felt they could use some help on the defensive line, and added a former LA Ram to the mix.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Giants have signed defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson to a one-year deal.

Robinson was one of the best defensive tackles still left in free agency.

Making this move right before the draft means the Giants most likely will not be looking to take a defensive tackle in the early rounds.

Last season, Robinson played 10 games for the Rams and recorded 42 total tackles in those games.

While he can be a good run defender, he will not provide much pass-rush.

In his career (seven seasons) Robinson has a total of 7.0 sacks.

After a surprising season that saw the Giants make the playoffs, they continue to improve their roster.

This draft will be massive for New York as they need some impact players for cheap.

One spot they should be looking to address is wide receiver.

Selecting 25th overall, the Giants will be in a position to land a wide receiver.
