The one exciting matchup in the first round of the NBA playoffs is, without a doubt, the Bay Area battle between the Sacramento Kings and defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.

Both teams have played exceptionally well in the first four games of this series, with neither team backing down an inch and desperately wanting to come out on top in order to advance to the second round.

The home team has won in each game of this series, but things could have been different in Game 4, which came down to the wire.

According to Cameron Salerno of 247 Sports, the Kings were robbed of a foul call on Draymond Green that would’ve sent De’Aron Fox to the charity stripe in the final minute of the game.

With the game being decided by one point in favor of the Warriors, this call would’ve obviously changed the outcome and the series.

The Kings could’ve gotten a massive win on the road before heading back to the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento for Game 5.

Stephen Curry and company would be facing elimination in Game 5 rather than having the opportunity to take the series lead before heading back to the Chase Center in San Francisco for Game 6.

As if this wasn’t a costly enough mistake by the referees in Game 4, Fox is now injured with the rising star dealing with a fracture on his left hand, which also could alter the outcome of this playoff series.

Needless to say, not a great day for the Kings.
