The Los Angeles Lakers are one win away from moving on to the second round of the playoffs.
They have the No. 2 seed Memphis Grizzlies against the wall after another impressive home win, this time in overtime.
The Lakers reached the playoffs as the seventh seed and even had to go through the Play-in Tournament to reach this stage, and now they have a legit shot of advancing.

The Lakers could close this series out in their next meeting and get ready for their next rival.
In their favor, the series between Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors are tied at two games apiece, meaning they’ll need to play at least two more games before settling on a winner.
Moreover, traveling won’t be an issue in their next series, as they’ll have to face a divisional rival in California.
That puts the Lakers in a privileged position to make it all the way to the Western Conference Finals.
They’ve been playing like a team on a mission, and even Anthony Davis has managed to avoid injury and play with the physicality and intensity the team needs him to play.
The Grizzlies have proven to be a hungry and gritty team, but they’re just not there yet.
So, maybe another first-round exit will humble them after all the crazy things they said throughout the course of the season.
