They got it from their parents! Lala Kent, Scheana Shay and more Vanderpump Rules stars brought their little ones to the Hot Wheels Ultimate Challenge bash, where the toddlers promptly stole the show.
The group stepped out at the toy brand’s Saturday, May 20, party with NBC in Los Angeles, where they sweetly posed in groups on the red carpet. Kent, 32, held 2-year-old daughter Ocean, whom she shares with ex Randall Emmett, in their pics. The Give Them Lala author looked effortlessly chic in a pair of jeans and a white tee. Ocean matched her mom in a coordinating ensemble.
Shay, 38, also attended the festivities, bringing along husband Brock Davies and their daughter Summer, 2. The squad’s former costars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright — who left the Bravo hit in 2020 — also attended with their 2-year-old son.
“Cruz rocked the red carpet 😂,” Cartwright, 34, wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, sharing a snap of her son lying on the floor in front of his dad. “[Terry Crews] was saying his son used to do the same thing😂. (Dope moment.)”
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine alum, 54, attended the festivities with his own brood, which were held in celebration of the upcoming competition series of the same name. Crews — who shares five kids with his wife, Rebecca King-Crews — is set to host Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge alongside Jay Leno.
Inside the party, the Vanderpump Rules parents watched (and helped!) their kids built Hot Wheels tracks to race their toy vehicles. “[Cruz] loves his @hotwheelsofficialcars,” Taylor, 43, captioned Story footage of his little boy. The group marveled over the brand’s actual designers, who sat in the room sketching out new car ideas, before they were able to take home plenty of new toys.
Kent — whose brother, Easton Burningham, joined the crew on Saturday — also captured footage from the party. “Today will be ‘mom content’ only,” the beauty entrepreneur quipped via her Stories.
Kent, Cartwright, Shay and former costar Stassi Schroeder were all pregnant with their firstborns at the same time. Since then, the toddlers have become equally fast friends and have lots of playdates.
“Thank you @lalakent for this friendship, it’s bigger than us,” Davies, 32, wrote via Instagram in March of watching Summer bond with Ocean. “All I want for my kids is consistency. Consistency in parenting 👩❤️👨. Consistency in friendships 👭. Consistency in emotional development 💜. I hope to give that to Summer like my other two have with their amazing parents.”
Davies — who shares two older children with a previous partner — wed the “Good as Gold” singer in August 2022. Their nuptials, which were attended by many Pump Rules stars, aired during season 10 earlier this year.
