The Arizona Cardinals finished the 2022 season with a 4-13 record, which underwhelmed pre-season expectations.
However, Kyler Murray suffered an injury, something that was all too common for this team last year.
DeAndre Hopkins was also suspended to begin the year, which didn’t help their early-season woes.
While many teams are looking to bounce back this season, there is little faith in the Cardinals from the majority of NFL analysts.
Many sportsbooks have looked at the 2023 NFL schedule and declared the Cardinals as underdogs in each of their 17 games.

This is a far cry from the Kansas City Chiefs, who are favored in every game in 2023, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
A recent article from AZ Central breaks down each game, and what the current point spread is for all of the Cardinals’ contests.
As current odds dictate, the Cardinals’ longest odds to win is against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17, where they are ten-point underdogs.
Their best chance to win is against the Los Angeles Rams, where they are only two-point underdogs.
DraftKings has set the Cardinals’ over/under win total at 4.5, and many believe that this number is too high.
The Cardinals’ success is largely dependent on the health of Murray.
His recovery timeline from his ACL injury is still widely unknown.
If he can start the season, the Cardinals will have a better chance for an improved record.
However, if Murray is out for the first several weeks of the season, the Cardinals’ early chances for success are less than ideal.
