The NFL Draft is all about finding future stars and franchise cornerstones.

Every year we see a few really good players fall a lot further than they are projected.

That is no different this year.

At the end of the first round last night, a few teams were looking to trade back up into the round.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Titans, Falcons, and Raiders were all looking to trade back up into the first round.

One player you can assume they were interested in is Kentucky quarterback Will Levis.

He fell a lot further than anyone projected, and all three of those teams need a quarterback.

It makes sense for them to try and trade up into the first round.

Every player drafted in the first round will have a fifth-year option available on their rookie contract.

That is why teams looking to draft a quarterback want to select them in the backend of the first.

So they can have that extra year of control if necessary.

But, none of those teams were able to move up, and Levis still sits on the board.

You can bet many teams will be jockeying to try and trade up in the second round.

Levis is the top quarterback on the board, and he will probably go with the first five picks or so.

There will be plenty of action in rounds two and three on Friday night.

It will be interesting to see the hauls each team comes away with.
