Even though they couldn’t beat the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers enjoyed some good moments during the game.
The Purple and Gold have always made sure to celebrate their legends on and off the court.
On Saturday night, one of the players who helped win their 15th and 16th NBA championships was in attendance and the fans made sure to greet him.
Pau Gasol showed his support to the 2023 Lakers squad and the fans loved his presence, giving him a standing ovation.

The Lakers also showed the celebrities that attended the game including long-time fan Jack Nicholson, Eddie Murphy, Adele, and others.

This appeared to be a magical night for the Lakers, but the Nuggets ruined their plans.
Jamal Murray was once again on a tear, Nikola Jokic did his job, and the role players showed up whenever the team needed them.
As for the Lakers, they competed until the final five or six minutes of the fourth quarter.
This has been a common situation during the series, and the Purple and Gold must make adjustments if they want to overcome their bad situation.
Denver is now 3-0 up against the Lakers, and Game 4 is the perfect time to close out this series.
They prepared for this series trying to contain Jokic, and Murray is the one torching them.
A presence like Gasol would help them face Jokic, but Pau hung the shoes a long time ago.
Game 4 is scheduled for Monday, with the Nuggets keen to complete the job and make it to the Finals for the first time in franchise history.
