The New York Jets have never had this much hope entering a season.
Now that Aaron Rodgers is in town and they have all those young stars on both sides of the football, a well-coached team, and a front office willing to go the extra mile, it seems like they might finally get over the hump.
More than that, their new QB is already getting a hold of the NYC sports culture, as he claimed that he recently watched Once Upon a Time in Queens, the 30 for 30 film on the ’86 Mets to draw some inspiration.

Rodgers claimed that, given that many Mets fans are also Jets fans, he now knows just how special it would be for them if they were to win a Super Bowl.
The Jets were one of the most improved teams in the league last season.
They made the most of their draft picks to replenish their roster with young and top-tier talents that made an immediate impact.
They knocked on the door of playoff contention until the final two weeks of the season, but QB Zach Wilson failed to get them over the hump more often than not, even being booed off the field at some point in the campaign.
The hope is that having one of the greatest passers this game has ever seen will be enough to get this team the distance for the first time since Joe Namath’s days.
And not many people could stop an inspired Aaron Rodgers, let alone with this kind of defense behind him.
