It took him a little bit of time to get started but LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers had a wonderful Monday night.

Propelled by his incredible playing in the last part of the game, the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies and took a dominant 3-1 lead in the opening round.

James ended his evening with 22 points and 20 rebounds.

He was doing so well, even at age 38, that some people are comparing his current run in the playoffs to Michael Jordan’s final postseason push, as documented by one of the greatest sports documentaries of all time.

“Are we live watching LeBron James’ version of ‘The Last Dance’? Is this going to be his run? And if it is, he looks unlike any LeBron we’ve ever seen,” Alan Hahn said on Get Up.

Other people have noted that James seems to be very content on the court lately and even more comfortable playing alongside such a strong roster that is supporting his every move.

He is able to rely on his teammates, such as Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, and others.

This gives him time to rest and also provides him with peace of mind.

His body, his mind, and his heart appear to be in a good place, as noted by Hahn.

We don’t know if all of this will result in another championship ring, as it did for Jordan in the 90s.

But even if the Lakers don’t win it all, people are currently in awe of what James is doing at his age.

There could definitely be a documentary created about this time in his career.
