When Dwayne Johnson took over the XFL, there was different energy and excitement surrounding the league.
Johnson is a former wrestler and has since turned to acting and several capital ventures, including the XFL.
It is no longer just a league for additional entertainment, but a competitive landscape.
After the 2023 XFL season, several of the league’s players have been invited to NFL minicamps, which Ari Meirov has extensively detailed.

As Meriov highlights, there are nearly 20 XFL players that have been invited to NFL minicamps.
Due to their participation in the XFL, these athletes will be given another opportunity to make their way onto an NFL roster.
For many football players, the NFL is their ultimate dream, considering it is the largest, most successful football league in the world.
One player on this list is Jack Coan, a former collegiate football star.
Coan started his college career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison but transferred to Notre Dame for his final season.
Despite being signed by the Indianapolis Colts last season, he was ultimately cut before the 2022 season began.
However, due to his success with the San Antonio Brahmas, Coan has an opportunity with both the New York Jets and the Seattle Seahawks.
Coan’s story is not unique, considering the number of players that are routinely added and cut from NFL rosters.
What is unique, both to him and the rest of the players on this list, is that they had a televised opportunity to showcase themselves in the XFL, resulting in these minicamp visits.
