If you have been watching home games for the Los Angeles Lakers during this postseason, one thing has been very clear: fans of the team really want to win.
Even though they have the most championships in NBA history, the Lakers have experienced some really rough seasons over the last decade.
Now they are up 3-1 over the Grizzlies and could be in the second round of the playoffs in just a few days.
The faithful LA followers have been loud, proud, and very present during these games, and players like Anthony Davis are noticing.
“The energy of the crowd… our fans have been phenomenal, so we kinda just feed off of them,” Davis said following Monday’s substantial win over the Grizzlies.

Davis reminded people that although his team won the championship just a few years ago, it was in the Orlando “bubble” and was therefore done without a crowd cheering them on.
The following season, the capacity of Crypto.com Arena was limited due to COVID regulations in Los Angeles.
So this is the first time the arena has been filled to capacity for a playoff game in years.
LA has always been one of the most faithful and engaged basketball cities in the country.
From Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and others, they hold their iconic players in high regard and love their team wholeheartedly, through good times and bad.
Most of the times have been quite bad over the last decade, with many missed playoffs, unfortunate injuries, and tough competition.
The fanbase has stayed loyal to their team and now it feels like it’s paying off and they are very excited to see how far the Lakers can go.
