For months now, the Denver Nuggets have been the best team in the Western Conference.
They have had one of their greatest regular seasons ever and easily breezed into the postseason.
Yet, some people still don’t believe they have what it takes to win the Finals.
On Friday night, Charles Barkley said he fully believes they can go all the way.
“I think the Nuggets are going to win the NBA championship,” Barkley said on Friday’s episode of Stephen A’s World.

“They got everything they need: Jamal Murray is finally back to being healthy, The Joker, we don’t give this kid enough credit…their bench is so good right now. Their bench is spectacular,” he added.
Barkley said this in the middle of Game 3 of this series.
Denver ended up losing the game despite Nikola Jokic’s 30 points, 17 rebounds, and 17 assists as well as Murray’s 32 points.
Yet, their chances of making the Finals are still very much alive.
This is the best iteration of the Nuggets that fans have seen in years.
Now that Murray and Michael Porter Jr are healthy and Jokic is still playing like one of the best players alive, the Nuggets are delivering on all their promises.
Even though they have statistically been the best team in their conference for months, some people have considered them a weak top seed.
That is partly because they are unproven in the playoffs.
But they are getting plenty of good experience in the postseason this year, having easily powered through the first round and now making life very hard for the Suns too.
Many of the people who felt the Nuggets didn’t have enough power to go all the way are starting to change their tune.
Even with Friday night’s loss, there is a growing belief that they have what it takes to win a ring.
