The Phoenix Suns are going to be one of the most interesting teams this offseason.
They just recently fired head coach Monty Williams.
Also, they have plenty of roster decisions they need to make this offseason.
One of the big ones will be what they do with point guard Chris Paul.
He is set for a base salary of $30.8 million this year but his age leaves a cause for concern.
It seems like Phoenix would prefer to move off Paul, but they will need a new point guard.
One player whose name has been linked to the Suns is James Harden.
Harden has a player option available on his contract for next season.
If he chooses to decline that option he will be free to sign anywhere.
Colin Cowherd believes that Kevin Durant has a lot of say in the moves the Suns make.
That is why he is telling Durant to avoid teaming up with Harden again.

Durant and Harden were teammates on the Thunder and then on the Nets.
But his experience on the Nets with Harden was a total failure.
Adding Harden to this Suns roster would not help them at all.
He is a ball-dominant player that plays very little defense.
The Suns would be better off surrounding Devin Booker and Durant with quality role players.
Durant is not getting any younger, and he wants to show he can win with a team he built.
But, it is looking more and more likely that will not happen anytime soon.
