The Las Vegas Raiders have to be thrilled with the return on investment they received from wide receiver Davante Adams.

Adams came over to Las Vegas last year as a part of a major offseason trade.

In his first season with the Silver and Black, Adams was once again one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

Many people questioned if he would be the same player without Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball.

The answer to that was clear.

Last season, Adams caught 100 passes for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Also, he was named to his third straight All-Pro first-team.

This particular All-Pro selection meant a lot to Adams because it proved he did not need Rodgers to be great.

According to SportsCenter, Adams said: “A quarterback doesn’t make me. I make me.”

Adams heard all of the talks that he would not be the same player without Rodgers.

But, he put that to bed very quickly.

The former second-round pick is a once-in-a-generation player.

Every time he is on the field he makes plays and finds ways to help his teams win.

Now he will get the chance to show he can be an All-Pro again with a new quarterback.

Jimmy Garoppolo has taken over the reins in Las Vegas.

Now Adams will have to spend the offseason building a rapport with him so they can produce massive numbers together.

There is no reason to think Adams will be slowing down anytime soon, no matter who is at quarterback.
