The Arizona Cardinals seem to have their hands full this offseason.

It appears they are entering a rebuilding year in 2023, which is not something wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is interested in.

There have been plenty of trade talks surrounding Hopkins this offseason.

With the NFL Draft less than two weeks away, if a deal is bound to happen it will be by then.

Many teams might be uninterested in acquiring Hopkins due to his contract.

Next season, Hopkins is expected to make just over $19 million.

But Hopkins has made it clear that he does not want a raise.

Any team ready to compete for a Super Bowl should make a play for Hopkins.

Despite being 31 years old next season, he can still play at a high level.

If Hopkins would be willing to take a slight pay cut, many more teams would be interested.

Many of the top offenses in the sport have good wide receiver play.

Hopkins’ talent would be wasted playing on the Cardinals this season.

Arizona will be without quarterback Kyler Murray for about half the season, and their chances of competing are slim.

It would make sense for the Cardinals to try and acquire some draft picks for Hopkins.

They can speed up their rebuild, and take a substantial contract off their books.

The trade talks around Hopkins have been going on for a while, and they should come to a resolution soon.
