The Phoenix Suns got it done on Tuesday night, sending the Los Angeles Clippers home and advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
Fans of the team were wowed by the brilliant work of Devin Booker, who scored 47 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists, and 2 steals.
But anyone paying attention wasn’t too surprised by Booker’s big night because he has been on a tear lately.
As pointed out by StatMuse, during these playoffs Booker has averaged 37.2 points, 5 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.
Those are the most points for any NBA star in the playoffs and it means that he joins Russell Westbrook and Michael Jordan as the only players to average 35/5/5/2 in the playoffs.

Booker has been the best superstar on a team full of A-list athletes.
He is playing alongside Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton and is a central part of this latest NBA superteam.
The fact that he is consistently outscoring Durant, one of the greatest of all time, says a lot about Booker.
But will it be enough to get his team all the way to the NBA Finals?
If the Suns don’t reach the championship, there will be many people questioning the monster trade that got them Durant.
A lot is on the line for Phoenix so they need Booker to keep performing as he has been.
He’s been great all season long with his 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists but he’s reached a whole new level in the playoffs.
It’s as if Booker is playing with one goal in mind: his first championship ring.
