The Philadelphia Eagles will enter the 2023 NFL Draft with two first-round picks, including the 10th and 30th overall.

Even though the Eagles made the Super Bowl, the 10th overall pick is from the New Orleans Saints, putting them in a great position.

With these picks in hand, many have suggested that the Eagles draft Bijan Robinson, the top running back prospect in the draft.

In a recent installment of NFL Live, however, Daniel Jeremiah expressed his opinion on the matter.

After working in the Eagles organization for several years, Jeremiah said, “If there’s such thing as less than a zero percent chance that it happens, that is the case there in Philadelphia.”

Jeremiah’s analysis comes just weeks after the Eagles parted ways with Miles Sanders.

Sanders was the Eagles’ leading rusher in 2022 but has since moved on to the Carolina Panthers.

While the Eagles might have a pressing need for the position, Jeremiah believes that Robinson, while a great prospect, will not be selected by the Eagles.

Another reason for initial hesitation is Jalen Hurts, who has established himself as a goal-line option for the Eagles.

Last season, Hurts had 26 rushing attempts within the ten-yard line, which was tied for third-most in the league.

He also scored nine touchdowns from within the five-yard line, again, the third-most in the league.

Robinson is an elite prospect at the position, which Jeremiah proudly highlights.

Due to a combination of team needs and Hurts’ abilities, he believes that the Eagles should not use capital on Robinson that early.
