For years, NBA fans and even players have joked about the Chinese league and some tournaments overseas.

‘Get ready to learn Chinese, buddy,’ has been a running joke online for players underperforming, especially in the playoffs.

NBA players have often taken their talents overseas when they no longer get a chance in the league, with most of them retiring shortly after.

That’s why Dwight Howard didn’t hold back and took to Twitter to troll some of his former NBA colleagues, urging them to join him in the Taiwan league.

The former Defensive Player of the Year invited Jordan Poole, Julius Randle, Ben Simmons, Klay Thompson, Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul, and even James Harden to pack their bags and take their talents to the league.

Notably, Howard claimed to be in the best shape of his career before the start of the season, yet he couldn’t find a single suitor interested in his services, which is why he went to Taiwan.

He’s actually been having a very good time there, starring in ads and dominating against lesser competition, so he knows what he’s talking about.

And while some of the guys he mentioned are still quite young and should still have plenty left in the NBA, they should most definitely take a deep look in the mirror after struggling so mightily in the postseason.

Howard has earned a reputation for being a bit of a troll, so there’s no need to dig deep or try and read too much into this.

But beware, NBA players, Taiwan could be next for you too.
