The 2022-23 NBA season has officially come to an end for the Golden State Warriors, with the Los Angeles Lakers getting the best of the defending champions in six games during the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Even though superstar Stephen Curry and his teammates are now in their offseason, arguably the greatest shooter of all time still has something over players still competing in the playoffs.

According to Stat Muse, Curry is still leading the way in points and three-pointers in this postseason, which is remarkable considering there’s already been a total of three games played in the Western Conference and Eastern Conference Finals.

Unfortunately for Curry, he would much rather still be defending the Warriors’ title right now rather than watching from home and having hit more three-pointers and scored more points than any player still active.

With the season coming to an end for the Warriors, the attention turns to what the storied franchise will do during their offseason to continue competing with Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green leading the way.

Although Green has indicated that he wants to return to Golden State next season and will likely opt into the final year of his deal with the team, the Warriors seem more and more likely to lose longtime general manager Bob Myers this summer.

It appears Myers and the Warriors brass can’t see eye-to-eye on a new deal, leading to speculation that he’ll be headed elsewhere once finally freed from his contract next month, which will be an issue for Golden State.
