The New York Knicks were hoping to walk into Game 2 on Tuesday night and again beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, bringing their record in the opening round to 2-0.

The Cavs didn’t let that happen.

In the end, Cleveland ended the game with a strong 107-90 victory.

Throughout the game, the entire team was outsmarting and outmaneuvering the Knicks.

And two players were playing excellently with one another.

Darius Garland scored 32 points, 7 assists, and 6 threes while Donovan Mitchell put up a double-double with 17 points and 13 assists in the huge victory.

Fans of the Cavaliers were elated following Tuesday night’s game.

There were many concerned that the Knicks were going to steal another win away from the Cavs but they went to bed happy.

Some of them were also concerned for legendary Knicks fan, Stephen A. Smith.

Garland earned a lot of praise for his showing.

You can bet the nickname “Garlhim” will appear in tweets and on a few signs in the weeks ahead.

But some people were cautious.

They noted that the Knicks played very poorly on Tuesday and probably wouldn’t be so bad again.

They suggested that the Cavs could have it tough because the next game will be held in New York City and the Knicks will come with something to prove and fire in their bellies.

Both Garland and Mitchell had a remarkable game but they weren’t alone.

Caris LeVert gave his team 24 points off the bench while Evan Mobley had his own double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds too.

Jarrett Allen’s 9 points and 10 rebounds were also very helpful too.

All in all, this was a strong showing from the Cavaliers.

Can they keep it up later this week when they make their way to Madison Square Garden?
