The Miami Heat have a shot at becoming the greatest No. 8 seed in NBA history, especially with a potential win in the NBA Finals.

But first, they need to close out their series vs. the Boston Celtics to punch their ticket to the ultimate stage.

For that, they’ll have to travel to hostile territory and take Game 5 on the road at the TD Garden, and oddsmakers don’t seem to like their chances.

According to SportsCenter, the Celtics opened as eight-point favorites ahead of Game 5, citing that the underdog has won all games in the series thus far.

Of course, those odds raised plenty of comments on social media, with fans sharing their takes on what may or may not happen in that pivotal matchup.

No team has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit in NBA playoff history, but there’s always a first.

Also, this Celtics team has more than enough talent, firepower, and stars to write their names in the history books.

Then again, it’s hard to envision a savvy and veteran coach like Erik Spoelstra dropping four games in a row, let alone against the very same rival.

Joe Mazzulla has looked way over his head at times in this series, and we’re running out of words to describe what Jimmy Butler has done in the playoffs.

Eight points seem like a lot this deep into the postseason, and you better believe the Heat will once again take things personally when they hit the road for another date with the Celtics.
